Yes! This cottage comes with a dock for your use. You may use it for swimming, hanging out, watching the sunset, fishing and mooring a boat. The dock is primarily for your use however if the owners are around they may use the dock to access their family boat which is moored on this same dock.
Yes! There is a lakeside fire ring just for your use. You will be supplied with plenty of fire wood.
Yes! A Weber charcoal grill is provided for your convenience. You will need to supply your own charcoal and are asked to clean the grill after your use.
We provide blankets and pillows but to keep costs low we suggest that guests bring their own linens including sheets, towels and kitchen dish cloths. If you would rather have us provide linens we can arrange that for an additional $100.Toggle Content
Sorry, no washer and dryer. The good news is that this means you can fully relax during your vacation. If you are desperate there is a laundry about 10 minutes away in Wild Rose
We have lots of fans but no air conditioning. The weather is generally mild but if you get a little hot we encourage you to jump in the lake.
We provide a canoe, 2 kayaks and a swim float along with paddles and four adult life jackets.
Please bring children’s life jackets and any other toys that will make your week enjoyable.
To keep things very clean for guests and to follow state law we handle major cleaning between guests.
We do ask that guests clean a bit before they depart, including leaving dishes clean and put away, trash taken out, quilts on all of the beds, and well swept.
We believe in doing things the right way. The cottage is regularly inspected by the health department, we are officially licensed as a rental property, and we pay all our taxes
Our cottage has a keypad entrance and guests receive unique access codes each year. This means you don’t have to worry about keys. The week before your stay we will provide you with a custom code.
We carry owner’s insurance however we encourage all guests to check with their own insurance agent to make sure their own belonging are insured while renting. Our insurance will not cover you if you drop you lose your engagement ring while swimming or drop your camera in the water.
